This year we are going to more intensively explore South Island New Zealand forestry from our new base at Awaroa in Abel Tasman National Park near Nelson. Then we are departing for Albany, Western Australia to explore forest restoration and investment opportunities nearby. This trip includes some of the best of our 2005 and 2006 tours. The itinerary includes regional forest visits and discussions with local foresters, environmental and economic professionals. We shall have an in-depth look at the issues and opportunities, with an eye to developing further international forestry relationships. Along with an inside view of local forests each trip includes robust sightseeing and cultural opportunities--a blend of adventure, education and relaxation. |
