Ralph Chapman

is president of Maarama Consulting based in Wellington, New Zealand. (Maarama is a Maori word meaning understanding or enlightenment.) A native kiwi, Dr. Chapman is an environmental economist who has worked in several countries and traveled throughout the world. His specialty is environmental economics, sustainable development, policy and strategic issues. ralph.chapman@paradise.net.nz

Mike Ferrucci

has been a consulting forester in Northford, Connecticut since 1981. He is president of Interforest LLC and is a some time instructor in Forestry and Environmental Sciences at Yale University. Mike is not available for the 2008 trip.

Tom Gaman

is President of East-West Forestry Associates, Inc. Inverness, California (www.forestdata.com). Gaman has 25 years of experience as a consulting forester. He has traveled extensively throughout the world. He has worked both in Nelson and in Rotorua and is very familiar with New Zealand forests.
