US Forest Service Region 5 Sacramento, CA My company has an ongoing project to provide consistent & high quality inventory data for 20 million acres of Region 5 Forest lands on 18 national forests and BLM lands. We have a flexible and positive working relationship with US Forest Service personnel. 25 Years in Forestry and Wildland Management1978 - 2003 East-West Forestry Associates, Inc. I have 25 years experience as an independent consultant forester. As principal of East-West Forestry Associates, Inc., a forestry consultancy based in New York and Northern California, I have been involved in innumerable projects involving ecologically sustainable management of private, industrial and public forests. These include development of forest conservation easements, participation on FSC forestland certification teams (and also as a FSC Certified Resource manager), management planning and compliance documents, administering ecologically-based management and fire hazard mitigation projects, urban and community forestry, agroforestry, minor forest products, marketing, plantation development.
