. Tom Gaman lives in Inverness, California. He is California Registered
Forester#1776 and holds BS (UC Berkeley 1972) and MF (Yale University, 1981)
degrees in forestry. He has worked his entire career in various
sectors of the forestry profession. He founded his company, East-West
Forestry Associates,in New York State in 1983 and he moved and expanded it
to California in 1986. Since then East-West Forestry has worked on a
wide variety of projects on public, industry and private lands. Gaman’s
focus areas are forest planning and management, inventory, GIS, natural
resource assessment, and data analysis. He has traveled throughout the
world,and has been active internationally with a number of non-profit forestry
organizations and educational exchange programs. East-West Forestry
Associates current major project is as a contractor with the US Forest Service
Region 5, providing forest inventory data andanalysis for 17 forests.

Ron Arnett, Vice President. Ron Arnett lives in Carson City, Nevada. He has a BS in forestry from Humboldt State University (1990) and has worked for East-West Forestry Associates as field coordinator since 1995. He hasinstalled FIA plots on every national forest in California. |

Robert East has a Bachelors degree from Humboldt State University and an Associates Degree from College of the Redwoods. He is a certified USFS FIA inventory crew leader. |

Jeffrey Firman graduated in 2003 with a masters degree from Yale University. After graduation he started with East-West as a GIS technician and has classified over 3 million acres of vegetation in California. Jeffrey has completed a number of special projects including Oaks2040, City of Atascadero type mapping, reports, and forest data analyses. |

Eliza Greenman is a forestry graduate (2006) from Sewanee University. She joined us in May 2006. |
| Paul Paradine, a Canadian citizen and forestry graduate of Lakehead University, worked with the National Park Service for 2 years in northern California before joining East-West Forestry in 2005. Paul is now certified by the USFS and lives in Eureka, California. |
