As the smoke blew out to sea, the 2003 Southern California Wildfires burned

over 200,000 acres of the public wildlands.

This includes:

Cleveland National Forest:  20,600 acres.

Los Padres National Forest  71,600 acres.

San Bernardino National Forest 120,500 acres.
